As the COVID pandemic wears on, victims of intimate partner violence can still get help.

House of Ruth Maryland's emergency shelter remains open, as does their legal clinic. Victims can receive protective orders - even if state courthouses should close again or after normal business hours - through court commissioners.

House of Ruth Maryland offers a shelter, 24/7 hotline, legal center, and more to help women, men, and children who are victims of intimate partner violence.

If you need help, please contact House of Ruth Maryland's 24-hour hotline at 410-889-7884 to speak with a trained counselor who will talk with you about your situation and help connect you to the resources you need.
