The Heart of the School Awards celebrate excellence in Baltimore City school principals. On May 20, the awards ceremony will honor ten principals and choose five winners, including Bard High School Early College principal Frankie Gamber.
The aim of the awards to to thank, honor, and support the hard work and dedication of Baltimore City school principals. The event also benefits the Fund for Educational Excellence, which funds need based projects in Baltimore.
Bard High School Early College offers students the chance to earn up to 60 college credits while still in high school, enabling them to graduate with both a high school diploma and an AA degree.
