GBMC offers spiritual serves support to patients, families, and staff of all denominations and backgrounds. Services include religious services, sacraments, and support. The team also provides non-religious support and encouragement to those patients who may not identify as religious but consider themselves spiritual.
The spiritual support team is comprised of reverends, musicians, and more than 60 volunteers who visit patients, council families, and administer sacraments. The team is working without volunteers at the moment due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you are having a rough time, it can be helpful to acknowledge the downside of this experience, while using this as a time of learning about priorities and what gives our lives value.
