Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy. That's the motto of Folds of Honor, an organization that helps fund scholarships for spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled U.S. servicemen and women. Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded more than 20,000 educational scholarships in all 50 states.

Their Stand to Honor initiative allows participants to donate $25 to stand for thirteen minutes on a platform that contains the boot imprints of a fallen U.S. service-member. The number thirteen represents the thirteen folds of an American burial flag given to the families of a fallen service member. All of the 13 platforms were built and assembled for the event by Hayes Construction, including one platform that is wheelchair accessible.

The next event take place Saturday, September 28 at The Village at Waugh Chapel. Learn more here.
