Working in healthcare can cause stress and anxiety under normal circumstances, but the recent pandemic has taken a psychological toll on many front line workers.

Healthcare workers have shown incredible resiliency through the COVID-19 crisis, working hard against tough odds. Common stressors include worry over PPE equipment, contracting the virus, and passing the virus onto loved ones.

Johns Hopkins is helping workers with the RISE Program, a network of volunteers who are on call for workers who are experiencing too much stress.
