DJ Kopec is a local DJ who has developed an enormous following by hosting Saturday night dance parties from his basement.
DJ Kopec uses the tips he receives to benefit the greater community. After his first event, he donated 500 pizzas for Howard County Emergency Services professionals. He then helped donate 60,000 pounds of chicken to Maryland residents in need and 30,000 breakfast sandwiches to local healthcare workers.
The dance parties are fun, dynamic and making a big impact on the community. DJ Kopec has selected Baltimore Child Abuse Center to be the recipient of the Saturday, May 16 dance party through support of the United Way’s Community Fund. He's hoping the BCAC party on May 16 will break $1 million of giving back during COVID-19.
