COVID Antibody Study

Researchers at Johns Hopkins are conducting trials to find out if the antibodies found in recovered COVID patients could be used as a treatment or even preventative for the disease.

Star baseball player Didi Gregorius is joining the call for volunteers, as this study could have a significant impact.

While vaccine development and rollout is important, it will take time to reach all corners of the earth, and some people will choose not to vaccinate. We need an outpatient treatment in order to get back to normal, allow businesses to open, sports stadiums to fill and travel to resume.

The study is looking for people who have been exposed to the virus within the last week, or people who have tested positive and are showing symptoms, but have not been hospitalized.
