We all know this last year was a tough one for small businesses, but a new survey from Capital One shows that the tide may be turning. 3/4 of small business owners surveyed said their business is doing the same or better financially as before the pandemic, and many are expecting business to pick up in the next few months.
Small business owners do have some concerns going forward. Top concerns include inflation, hiring, and supply chain issues. Many small businesses seem split on the issue of social justice with half saying they don't feel it's their place to comment on social justice issues, and the other half saying they feel a responsibility to the community to speak out. Of those who addresses social justice issues last year, almost all saw a positive impact and support from their customers and their communities.
