The Maryland State Fair may be canceled for the year, but many events are going virtual. This includes fair-goer favorite the Undeniably Dairy Shake Off featuring WMAR-2 News team Mallory Sofastaii and Patrick Pete!
American Dairy Association North East will be hosting the virtual contest on September 4. Two rules exist for the teams: Use dairy based milk, ice cream or yogurt and have fun making your milkshake. With a virtual "Welcome" from Gov. Hogan, teams will put their dairy and culinary skills to the test and viewers of the virtual event will be able to decide who's milkshake they'd most like to try, with a People's Choice voting option.
Tune in at 10:30am and 2:30 pm on August 28 and 29 for teasers of the team's milkshake, then see all four videos in their entirety on August 30.
People's Choice voting runs August 30-September 3, and the winner will be crowned during the Livestream at 2pm on September 4!
