A pumpkin spice latte may be the best drink to start your Halloween morning, but Halloween night — once trick-or-treating is done and it’s time to put the kids to bed and eat their candy (don’t pretend you don’t do it!) — calls for a pumpkin cocktail!
Malibu Rum has concocted just what we need to wind down on Halloween night — a Malibu pumpkin colada. The recipe calls for Malibu rum and a handful of ingredients you might already have on hand: pineapple juice, coconut cream, lime juice and pumpkin puree or juice.
Whipping up this cocktail couldn’t be any easier. Take a look at the full recipe:
Malibu Pumpkin Colada
50 ml Malibu Original
75 ml Pineapple juice
50 ml Coconut cream
10 ml Fresh lime juice
10 ml Pumpkin puree or juice
Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
Add Malibu, coconut cream, lime juice, pumpkin puree/juice and pineapple juice.
Shake and strain into a chilled glass (pumpkin cup) filled with ice cubes.
If you can’t wait until Halloween to give this one a try, it’s also perfect for the end of summer and beginning of fall, since it includes pineapple juice, coconut cream and lime juice — all summer flavors!
According to the brand, it tastes like fresh pumpkin, cinnamon and other autumnal spices mixed with Caribbean rum. So, basically, a PSL with an extra kick.

The pumpkins are used to make a pumpkin ice cream that is then swirled with spiced sweet cream cheese ice cream and cake chunks.
