LAUREL, Md. — At least 19 families are displaced following a Sunday evening fire in Laurel.
Flames broke out just before 9pm at an apartment complex on Muirkirk Road.
Prince George's County Fire crews arrived to find the third floor heavily involved, prompting a second alarm to be called.
The fire was put out by around 1am.
Investigators have not yet determined where and how the fire originated.
The Red Cross deployed eight volunteers to assist the families affected.
