SILVER SPRING, Md. — Police have recovered the body of a missing Maryland man with dementia.
George Frederick Corum, Jr., 81, was last seen on September 23, walking away from his home on Bailey’s Lane in Silver Spring.
A Silver Alert was issued shortly after.

On Sunday evening Corum was discovered in a heavily wooded area near Norbeck Road.
While no foul play is suspected, his cause of death remains under investigation.
