BALTIMORE — Over the weekend, a threat was issued against Baltimore City College on social media.
After investigation from Baltimore City Police and City Schools Police, the threat was deemed not valid.
School officials say officers are providing additional patrols in and around the school this week.
Families were notified that City College will be open Monday and Tuesday and about the extra police presence.
At this time, it is unclear what the threat was.
