MIDDLE RIVER, Md. — The search for a missing swimmer in the Gunpowder River has concluded.
Maryland Natural Resources Police (DNR) were initially called Monday afternoon for reports of a drowning.
The Baltimore County Fire Department initially said two men were rescued from the Hammerman Beach Area, with one still missing.
They later corrected that saying only one person had been pulled from the water. That individual later died.
By Tuesday morning DNR located the missing swimmer deceased.
