MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Montgomery County firefighters responded to what they thought was car trouble, but it turned out to be something even better.
Friday morning, Montgomery County firefighters encountered a car with its flashers on on I-270.
Officials say a man told fire crews his wife was giving birth in the vehicle.
Crews assisted in the delivery of a healthy newborn. Both the mom and newborn were safely taken to the hospital.
