Man seriously injured after shooting in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Md. — Aberdeen Police announced that is investigating after a man was shot Monday evening.

Officers arrived at the 500 block of Baltimore Street and found 31-year-old James Kelly suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police say due to the seriousness of the injury, the man was taken to Shock Trauma. He's currently in serious condition, but is stable.

Aberdeen Police ask anyone who may know about the shooting to contact Detective Lightner at 410-272-2121, press #8, and dial extension 160.
