GAITHERSBURG, Md. — Police in Montgomery County say a man was killed, all over a jacket.
It happened in Gaithersburg on January 2nd.
Police say Taeyon Malachi Prather, who was 18, went to meet someone on Rolling Fork Way, so he could sell them a jacket.
Montgomery County Police say he was shot to death and robbed at some point during the meeting. The jacket and other personal items were taken.
Detectives received a tip leading to 16-year-old Wisdom Da-Silva Baptista and 20-year-old Kevin Jesus Perez Fierro.
Both were arrested at their homes on January 12 and are awaiting bail hearings.
