Flights resume at BWI Airport after severe weather prompts ground stop

The ground stop at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport has been lifted.

In a social media post, BWI announced that all airline flight operations had been temporarily suspended.

All passengers were advised to avoid windows and proceed to the lower level for safety.

Flights have since been allowed to resume as of 7:25 p.m.
