BALTIMORE — Baltimore firefighters battled a large warehouse fire Wednesday afternoon.
Crews responded to the intersection of Bayard and Hamburg Street for reports of a fire involving a large pile of scrap metal.
According to Baltimore Fire spokesperson Kevin Cartwright, the burning metal may have penetrated an adjoining warehouse.
Heavy smoke can be seen from the warehouse.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
