NORTH EAST, Md. — Families were saddened to find the headstones of 59 loved ones pushed over at North East Cemetery.
The vandalism was discovered around 7:45am Friday.
Police Chief Stephen Yates said only two of the stones sustained damaged.
Detectives reportedly have several leads in the case, but would not elaborate citing an active and open investigation.
