GERMANTOWN, Md. — A body was recovered Tuesday morning from Lake Churchill in Germantown.
On Wednesday the Medical Examiner identified the body as 30-year-old Ankit Bagai.
He'd been reported missing since Easter from the 12000 block of Panthers Ridge Drive.
Family previously expressed concern for Bagai's welfare, but police suspect no foul play.
Search crews were called out to the lake for reports of a person in the water the same day Bagai went missing, but those efforts were unsuccessful, according to Pete Piringer, Public Information Officer with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
