A body was discovered near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on Sunday morning, officials say.
The body was recovered by the members of the Maryland Natural Resources Police just before 9:00 a.m.
A cause of death has not yet been determined and the body has not yet been identified.
The Maryland Transportation Authority Police have assumed the investigation, which remains open and active.
