SEVERN, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a shooting in Severn.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of Meade Village Circle for the call at 7:19 pm.
Once on scene, police discovered the victim, 34-year-old Keion McKinney, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, McKinney was walking out of a townhome when he was shot by a male suspect in the rear yard.
Police believe this was a targeted incident.
