MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Four people were hospitalized after a house fire in Montgomery County on Christmas.

Fire crews were called to the 10300 block of Fleming Avenue for a single-family house fire.

Officials say the fire started from a dry Christmas tree, likely an electrical failure of light strands on tree.

Four adults were injured and taken to the hospital. One of them is in critical condition.

One dog was rescued and resuscitated.

The damage done to the house is more than $400,000.
