BALTIMORE — Two businesses in Federal Hill are closing down.

The Local Fry announced on social media they will shut down their location on East Cross Street after four years of business.

They'll shift their focus to their newer location in the Rotunda Building near Hampden.

No word on exactly when the closure of the Federal Hill location will take place.

Local Fry posted this statement on their Facebook page:

In the new year, we will be combining our resources from both businesses and will be relocating The Local Fry to our Rotunda location at 711 W 40th St, Suite 152, Baltimore MD 21211. It has been a wonderful 4 years serving the Federal Hill neighborhood. We want to thank all of our customers that have supported us through the years at this location. We’ve learned a lot and we will use the knowledge and experience gained from our time in Federal Hill as we pursue other business projects and expand our brand. We look forward to continue offering great service and delicious food in Baltimore. Hope to see you all soon at The Rotunda!

This comes as Nick's Inner Harbor Seafood in Cross Street Market is set to close Monday.

The bar and restaurant has been in the market since 1972. A major renovation is going on right now and the owner of Nick's had a dispute with the developer about keeping the space.

Over the weekend, Nick's held a farewell party to celebrate the business.
