This year is expected to be the busiest for Thanksgiving air travel, so expect to see crowded airports for the next few weeks.
The lobbying group "Airlines for America" predicts a record 30.6 million people will take flight during the Thanksgiving air travel period from Friday, November 16th through Tuesday, November 27th.
That's more than 1.5 million people who are expected to fly this year than last year.
Due to the increase, airlines are adding thousands of extra seats to accommodate last minute travellers.
The busiest travel day is expected to be the Sunday after Thanksgiving, November 25th.
