Nearly 500 flights have been canceled at BWI-Marshall Airport as the winter storm continues to dump snow and sleet through our area Tuesday.
More than 5,000 flights have been canceled nationwide.

Crews at BWI are working to clear the runways and taxiways for travel. Some flights are taking off as planned, yet airline operations are “very limited,” according to BWI.
