Barney is a six-year-old Chihuahua who is currently living in foster care until the Maryland SPCA can find him a fur-ever home.
Although he was scared in the shelter, he’s thriving in his temporary foster home. He enjoys going on walks, lounging on the sofa and hanging with his foster brother who is a large Golden Retriever.
Barney’s looking for a slow-moving family, one who will be patient with him as he gets used to his new home. In no time he’ll fit right in, playing with any other dogs or cats in the household and trying to please his humans.
Don’t miss this year’s March for the Animals on Sunday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Register here.
He wants you to know that his favorite treats in the whole world are chicken treats! If you’re looking for a cuddly couch potato, Barney is your guy.
If you are interested in meeting him, please contact the foster coordinator, Kaitlyn, at email@example.com.
