Sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the MD State BBQ Bash Championship attracts over 50 competition teams and offers $12,000 in prize money. This BBQ themed street festival offers something for everyone – world class music and BBQ, crafters, kids’ entertainment, sponsor exhibits, and two barbecue competitions – the Maryland State Championship for the pros, and the Tailgate Challenge for local rib kings.
