Sarcoidosis is a disease that causes small clusters of inflamed cells to form in various and sometimes compromise organs throughout the body. The disease is underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed because symptoms can mimic several other diseases, and some people do not present with symptoms for years.
The Life and Breath Foundation aims to help those diagnosed with sarcoidosis and has raised over $300,000 for research.
The 10th Annual Flip Flop Festivus will be held Friday, 9/21 at the Four Seasons in Baltimore. The event is an elegant night of fun, food, drink and activities in a laid back atmosphere.
