Chick-fil-A is sponsoring the Everyday Heroes Contest celebrating local civil servants who go above and beyond for their communities every day.
One winner each month will receive a commemorative plaque as well as a Chick-fil-A lunch for 10.
Congratulations to September winner Margaret Powell, an office attendant at Matthew A. Henson Elementary School. Ms. Powell helps her students ever day, from hosting breakfasts and educational lectures to making sure the kids have warm clothing.
