Art of Activism

Pennsylvania Avenue was once a bustling hub of arts and entertainment, with performers like Cab Calloway, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, and more making appearances at the famed Royal Theater.

Community leaders are now trying to revitalize Pennsylvania Avenue by applying to designate the area as an official Black Arts and Entertainment District, the city's first.

Join artists, entertainers, and community leaders on Saturday, September 8 for the Art of Activism Party.

Event include workshops, artists, panel discussions, and more.
