The AARP Purpose Prize is awarded to individuals aged 50 and over who are creating new ways to solve social issues they are passionate about. Five prizes of $60,000 will be awarded this year.

Past winners include people like Reid Cox., who is the co-founder of ifoster, a nonprofit dedicated to providing serves and support for foster children.
