You just don't have time to prepare a big meal in the morning but if you have a blender and a few ingredients, breakfast on the go can be healthy and delicious.

As a food blogger, eating healthy can sometimes to be a challenge. I need to eat all the things so I can tell you about them! But that's not always the best for my weight.

Like everyone else I know, one of my New Year's Resolutions is to eat healthier and lose weight. That journey starts with a delicious breakfast!

Megan and I have both started making smoothies for breakfast and wanted to share some of our favorite recipes with you to make your morning a little easier!

Megan's Favorites:

While testing out different combinations to make a good smoothie Megan tried out this one and it's now her go-to breakfast.

Megan's Smoothie:

1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 cup almond milk
1 cup spinach (about a handful)
¼ c of plain Greek yogurt
Drizzle of honey

Put everything in a blender. Blend to desired consistency. Pour and serve.

She also tried out a Reese's spinach smoothie from the Nosh and Nourish blog. If you can't eat real Reese's cups this is a good healthy option. Check out the recipe here.

Siobhan's Smoothies:

I stayed at the home of a friend who eats way healthier than I do and she turned me on to this smoothie.

1 Frozen or fresh banana
TBSP natural peanut butter
TBSP Raw cocoa power or cinnamon
TBSP of honey or agave nectar
Handful of greens (spinach, kale, pick your favorite)
10 - 12 ounces of plain almond or soy milk (Vanilla is the best!)
Ice cubes

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend to your desired thickness. Pour and enjoy!

Sticking with the healthy smoothies that satisfy your sweet tooth, I found this Orange Creamiscle Smoothie that I love! You only need four ingredients. You can find the recipe here. It's from the blog Fit Foodie Finds.

For me, smoothies definitely make trying to eat healthy a lot easier. You can prep the ingredients the night before too and make your morning routine even easier!
