Your spring allergies are really starting to ramp up and you're planning summer vacations. Fall isn't really something on your mind, but apparently, it's never too early to start talking about it and its flavor: Pumpkin spice.
General Mills is jumping on the basic bandwagon and creating pumpkin spice flavored Cheerios, Bloomberg reported. This is an effort to increase slumping sales for the brand as more and more Americans are turning away from traditional cereal for breakfast.
Cheerios going gluten-free has helped the brand reverse sales. General Mills has been offering limited time Cheerios flavors for a few years. Right now, they have a strawberry flavored Cheerio available for the spring and the summer.
We don't know when the pumpkin spice Cheerio will hit store shelves, but Starbucks offers its PSL around Labor Day.
