Posted

Baltimore’s swimming community is banding together for one of the region’s biggest cancer-fighting fundraisers.

This weekend Maryland swimmers will hit some serious waves. With open water a pool swims, Swim Across America Baltimore has raised more than $2.3 million in its first five years of existence.

Swim Across America is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment.

WMAR and the Scripps Howard Foundation are proud to partner with Swim Across America in the fight against cancer.
