Wednesday is the perfect day for a wild ride at the Six Flags America, and not just because it's National Roller Coaster Day.

The Wild One roller coaster turned 100 years old, and to celebrate ABC2 was selected to choose a charity to give 100 tickets to.

ABC2 partnered with the Casey Cares Foundation, which gives kids a distraction from treatment to have some fun!

Wednesday morning the Wheatley family joined our Cassie Carlisle at the coaster to get a ride and an experience of a lifetime.

Chase Wheatley was 12-years-old when he was diagnosed with leukemia. Now, only two years later, he's in remission and ready to celebrate.

The original Wild One roller coaster was in Boston. Years later it was moved, piece by piece, to Six Flags America.
