Two men get shot from two different robberies; police are investigating

Citywide shooting detectives are investigating the southwest and northeast shootings on Monday and Tuesday.

The investigators learned that both incidents were caused by robberies. The victims are a 19-year-old man and a 38-year-old man. The two men are suffering from gunshot wounds and they have not been identified yet.

On Monday, at 11:05 p.m., detectives responded to a shooting on 4300 block of Erdman Avenue where they found the 38-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital. The investigators learned the motive of the shooting was a robbery.

On Tuesday, around 12:53 a.m., the same detectives were called for another shooting. The 19-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

According to the victim, while walking the 3700 block of Clifton Avenue, he was approached by a man with a gun demanding his property.

After the suspect took the victim’s money and phone, the gunman shot him in the leg. The 19-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital by an acquaintance.
