LANSDOWNE, Md. — Lakeside Homes at Holiday Heights bills itself as a place to enjoy country living and the comfort of Baltimore, but last night, it more resembled a battle zone.
"The information from the call said at least 20 girls were involved in this fight," said Cpl. Shawn Vinson of the Baltimore County Police Department.
A brawl, which residents say brewed for almost two hours over money---just $2.
When officers pulled in the punches were still flying, and they observed a woman get into a car and attempt to hit several people.
Police pulled over the driver and a passenger before they could leave the complex and learned both had suffered stab wounds.
"We've identified three suspects at this point and three individuals were taken to local hospitals,” said Vinson, “Two of them were cut and then a third individual, a third female, she was transported to a local hospital after being actually hit by the suspect in her car."
Police have arrested 22-year-old Casesha Cobb and 28-year-old Ronnisha Harris on assault and dangerous weapon charges.
It's alleged they are the ones who pulled out knives and used them in the middle of the mass fist fight.
Charges are pending against the stabbing victim who got behind the wheel of her car and decided to use it as a weapon.
"Charges are pending, but this would be a felony assault using a vehicle to try to run someone over, especially when she tried to hit her multiple times," said Vinson.
Police say none of the victims' injuries are considered life-threatening, and they plan to focus more officers on the complex to make sure there is no further violence or retaliation.
