Monday's storms left a lot of damage in Wesminster.
Both north and south lanes of MD 140 between Market Street and Gorsuch Road are closed because power poles were knocked down, covering the lanes.
According to BGE, over 30 poles were broken along Route 140 by straight-line winds.
The downed power poles trapped 34 vehicles.
According to Maryland State Police, no one was injured.
The damage has impacted more than 10,200 customers in the Westminster area.
There is no word on when the lanes will reopen.
