Custom officials see all kinds of odd packages, but agents in California got a scary surprise when they opened a can of potato chips. Three king cobras were inside!

Each snake was about two feet long. Investigators say the live, highly venomous snakes were mailed from Hong Kong to the U.S. The package was addressed to Rodrigo Franco in California. When federal agents searched his home they found other protected animals inside, including a baby crocodile in a water tank.

Franco, who reportedly tried to smuggle in baby turtles the same day, was arrested and charged with illegally importing merchandise into the U.S.
