Authorities are investigating the discovery of a body found outside a hospital in the Phoenix suburb of Maryvale as a homicide.
Phoenix police say the body was discovered lying on the grass Sunday morning.
Officers arrived at the scene just after 7 a.m. and found the body of the woman by the emergency entrance at Maryvale Hospital Medical Center.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the woman didn't have any external injuries, but no other information was immediately released.
There's also is no word yet on the woman's name or how her body ended up outside the hospital.
