Mother Nature is keeping first responders busy in Maryland and across the country. Snow, sleet and icy conditions caused hundreds of spin-outs and wrecks.
Maryland State Police were called to 333 accidents between 9 a.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday. 65 of those crashes happened in just nine hours Monday in Howard County. From midnight and 9 a.m. Monday police were called for 57 wrecks in Anne Arundel County. The conditions caused several school delays and closings Monday.
Crews have already been pre-treating the roads ahead of Wednesday's forecasted wintry weather.
