During a routine sampling, The Maryland department of Health and Mental Hygiene revealed Listeria monocytogenes in Picni Gourmet Spreads
Products include: Red Pepper Feta Cheese Spread, Moroccan Cilantro Cheese Spread, Tandoori Garlic Cheese Spread, Herbed Goat Cheese, Parmesan Cheese Spread, and Chipotle Sage Cheese Spread.
Stores in Maryland, Kentucky, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington D.C. have all received distribution from Picni Gourmet, and officials ask that anyone that has brought these products, throw them away.
Picni Gourmet has stopped all production of products.
