Maryland State Police are investigating the death of a 69-year-old inmate at Western Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland.
The victim 69-year-old Roger Largent was found by a correctional officer in a cell around 8:10 p.m. Saturday.
Largent was unresponsive and officers attempted CPR to revive him. An inmate suspect has been identified and charges are pending, according to police.
Largent was serving 18 years for rape.
