Star Wars The Last Jedi finally premiered in movie theaters Thursday night!
Dressed in their best Star Wars gear, people lined up outside of the Senator Theater to watch the newest installment of the Star Wars trilogy.
The new movie is the next in the series after The Force Awakens, that premiered in December of 2015. Last December, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story premiered.
Fans said the new movie lives up to the story line they know and love, encouraging everyone to see it.
Fans say the movie addressed the death of Carrie Fisher, and that she makes them proud.
The Senator Theater is running the new movie all Friday.
