The Harvey Awards, an annual ceremony honoring comic book professionals, is leaving Baltimore Comic-Con after 11 years.
Baltimore Comic-Con was the award ceremony's longest-running host and primary sponsor, according to a release from Comic-Con.
"We're thankful to the Harvey Awards Committee, headed by Paul McSpadden, for bringing the awards to Baltimore, and the guidance and assistance of Denis Kitchen and Nellie Kurtzman for recognizing that the Baltimore Comic-Con was the right home for the awards," the release states.

Comic-Con organizers say they expect a new venue for the Harvey Awards to be announced "in the coming days."
"We wish the event continued luck in the future in their new venue," the release states.
The 2017 Baltimore Comic-Con will be held Sept. 22-24, 2017.
