February 1 is the start of Black History Month and it also marks the return of an Academy Award front-runner.
Black Panther returns to theaters twice a day for free at 250 AMC locations in honor of Black History Month. Participating theaters will have screenings between February 1-February 7.
Locally, Columbia, Owings Mills and White Marsh have scheduled screenings.
Black Panther is up for Best Picture, Best Production Design, Best Sound Editing, Best Original Music Score, Best Costume Design and Best Sound Mixing at the Academy Awards onFebruary 24.
