What does the term "plus-sized" mean?
To Glamour magazine, actress and comedienne Amy Schumer could be an example of a plus-sized woman, which came as news to Schumer, 34.
She said on her Twitter and Instagram accounts Tuesday that she was surprised to be included in the magazine's plus-sized issue.

"Just felt it a little odd an (sic) unfair not to be told," wrote Schumer, who said she fluctuates between a size 6 and a size 8.
She called such labels "unnecessary" and said they seem to be reserved for women.
In a statement to CNN, Glamour said the edition doesn't specifically label Schumer as plus-sized.
"The cover line on this special edition -- which is aimed at women size 12 and up -- simply says 'Women Who Inspire Us,' since we believe her passionate and vocal message of body positivity IS inspiring, as is the message of the many other women, of all sizes, featured," the statement said. "The edition did not describe her as plus-size. We are sorry if we offended her in any way."
