A 16-year-old died after being hit by a car while he was skateboarding, according to police.
On Sunday, police were called to Devilbiss Bridge Road after reports of a Ford truck hitting a teen.
Police say Austin Shipe was driving his truck west bound on Devilbiss Bridge Road at Heritage Farm Park Road when he hit a 16-year-old skateboarding.
The 16-year-old was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name has not been released.
